Mike is delighted to be back on the Siamsa stage having played Pharaoh in Siamsa’s production of Joseph last year. He is looking forward to playing the iconic role of The Wizard of Oz, a character which so many people have grown up with. Since his first performance in The Student Prince with Tralee Musical Society way back in 1994, he has performed in many Musicals, Variety shows, Pantos and plays. In all that time he claims his love for performing and entertaining has just grown and grown. He is honoured to be sharing the stage with such a wonderful cast and says that he enjoys watching and learning from the up and coming young talented performers.

One of these Tin Men is Mike Lynch during the 2015 Siamsa Tíre Christmas Panto and the other is his son David who’s starring in the same role in this year’s Summer Musical. Can you tell who’s who??

Fun fact – David’s Tin Man funnel hat is the same hat that Mike made for himself back in 2009 for Tralee Musical Society’s production of The Wiz, he has kept it all these years!!
