Kerry County Council is delighted to announce a Gala Screening of Create One’s documentary Daniel O’Connell: The Emancipator, narrated by Domhnall Gleeson.
The Gala Screening will take place at Síamsa Tíre, Tralee at 7.30pm on Wednesday 10th December. It will feature a live music performance by Colm Mac Con Iomaire, followed by the Kerry Premiere of the Documentary, and a post screening Q & A session with noted Daniel O’Connell experts discussing his legacy. This post screening session will be moderated by Chairman of the Daniel O’Connell Summer School and noted academic, Professor Maurice Brick.
This new Documentary celebrates the life and legacy of Ireland’s Great Liberator on the 250th Anniversary of his birth.
Proceeds from this event will be applied for charitable purposes within the local community, with beneficiary organisations to be confirmed.
