Katrina holds a First Class BA Honours Degree in Voice and Dance from the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at the University of Limerick, with additional training from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She also holds a Certificate of Ballet Teaching from the Royal Academy of Dance and is currently training towards her ABRSM Diploma in Classical Voice. Recently, she was awarded the Miriam Murphy Memorial Cup for vocal performance under Aidan O’Carroll by the Kerry School of Music.

Katrina has performed in shows with both Killarney Musical Society and Light Opera Society Tralee. Her roles with L.O.S.T. include “Roxie” in Chicago, “The Mistress” in Evita, “Madame Giry” in Phantom of the Opera, and “Little Red” in Into The Woods. She is also playing “Anita” in L.O.S.T.’s upcoming production of West Side Story.

Katrina owns Sparrow Academy of Dance and was proud to be awarded “Rising Star” by the Connect Kerry Business Awards. This year her dance and performance school is also nominated for two All Ireland Golden Dance Awards.

 She has really enjoyed working under an amazing production team and is excited for a great run of shows at Siamsa Tíre!
