If so, volunteering with Siamsa Tíre in Tralee could be the perfect fit for you. We would love to have someone with your energy and enthusiasm on board.
We regularly recruit for volunteers to lend a hand with various aspects of running our theatre and arts centre. Our partners Volunteer Kerry help us with this process. So, if you’re interested in volunteering with us, your first step is to register with them.

Work Experience Placements
Volunteering in the arts is just one way in which you can make your contribution to the team at Siamsa Tíre. We also offer work experience placement and internship opportunities.
The work experience placements we host are usually part of the transition year programme offered in fourth year at secondary school. These placements are designed to give teenagers a general understanding of the workplace.
If you do your work experience placement with us, you can expect to shadow various members of staff, observing their work and helping them with simple tasks. Who knows? It might just be the start of a long career working in the arts!

Be a Volunteer
Every one of us at Siamsa Tíre knows that we are where we are in our professional lives today thanks to those who educated, encouraged, and mentored us along the way.
We recognise that it is our responsibility to find and nurture the next generation of skilled artists and venue and industry workers. People who may one day work with Siamsa Tíre or go on to roles elsewhere in Ireland or internationally. People who will bring their fresh energy and unique perspective to the world of the arts.
